Another Apparent Gang Shooting In South Seattle

While it's been a relatively quiet summer thus far—as least as far as gang-related homicides go—we've uncovered details of yet another apparent gang shooting in South Seattle.

Gang detectives were called to Harborview in the early morning hours of July 24th after a man showed up at the hospital with a bullet wound in his chest.

Although the man "was medically unable to answer questions" about the shooting, a police report says officers found shell casings, a "blood smear" and bullet ricochet markings at 19th Ave S and S State Street.

Police seized a vehicle and took the man's bloody clothes into evidence as part of the investigation.

That was a while ago, he's probably been shot again since then.
