Police Investigating Home Invasion In South Seattle

Police are investigating a strange home invasion in South Seattle after a man was pepper sprayed and tied up in his bedroom.

Officers were called to a home in the 4000 block of Letitia Ave S around 11:30 on February 26, where police found the victim lying on a couch, coughing and crying.

The man told officers he was sleeping upstairs in the home when he heard someone outside his bedroom door. The victim opened the door and was confronted by two men, who sprayed the victim in the face with pepper spray.

The men tied up the victim and left him in his bedroom. After 20 minutes was able to escape to a neighbor's house where he called 911

Although the two suspects had taken the time to break into the home and tie the man up, the victim told police he found no signs that anything was taken.

The victim told police he recognized recognized one of the suspects "as someone who hangs around the area."
