Pants-Less Man Charged For Punching Cop

Just before 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Seattle police were called to the 5600 block of Martin Luther King, Jr., Way South following a report that a half-naked man running into the street.

Arriving at the scene, officers found said man, his pants removed and his underwear riding low on his thighs, according to charging documents. The man, later identified as Marcus Phillips Robinson, was stumbling, mumbling and high.

When police tried to take Robinson in to custody, he allegedly took a swing at an officer. Robinson was arrested and taken to Harborview for a mental health evaluation. He's been since been charged with assault.
