Robbery In Highland Park

Police are looking for an armed man in the South Park neighborhood following a report of a robbery in the 7600 block of 8th Ave SW.

It appears the suspect may be armed with a shotgun, and may have taken the victim's cell phone and wallet. It sounds like the victim was handcuffed at some point during the robbery and the 911 log shows that medics were dispatched to the scene.

It appears the victim was injured when the suspect hit them with the butt of his gun. Suspect is a black male in his 30s with a gold tooth, wearing camo.

West Seattle Blog says the victim is being transported to the hospital via a private ambulance, which generally indicates that injuries aren't grievous.
