Robbery In Wallingford

Police set up containment in Wallingford a short time ago near Stone Way N and N 47th Street looking for a robbery suspect. Officers are looking for an older white male in a plaid shirt. He may have implied he had a weapon.

No reports of any injuries.

As I mentioned in this post yesterday, and again following last night's shooting/possible robbery on Capitol Hill, Seattle Police Department crime data shows robberies in Seattle are up 19% in Seattle.

Update: 11:45 a.m. : sounds like police have called off the search.

Wallingford Police Activity; Sunday Nov 22nd
Last night there were 2 police cars at the corner of 45th and Meridian and over 4 cars circling the neighborhood, including Meridian Playfield. Anyone know what might have occurred?
